TeaCo Geophysical utilizes GPR equipment and data processing software manufactured by Sensors & Software of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Over the years a strong working relationship has developed due to the quality of equipment and technical support provided. This has allowed for TeaCo technicians to gain the experience and technical abilities to provide the best GPR services in the Southeast. All of our equipment is registered and meets all standard FCC regulations.
We design and execute custom GPR surveys for a diverse range of professions from environmental to forensics and anything in between and as such have the capacity to provide the full range of GPR frequencies necessary for our client’s specific needs. Another great tool is the Novatel GPS that can be integrated into the data string to provide precise coordinates of surveyed areas and objects. The Smart Cart® pe-Pro 1000 configuration allows for continual geophysical data acquisition, in either a shielded or unshielded configuration, through the aid of an odometer attached to the wheel of the cart which significantly increases acquisition rates. GPR frequencies from 25 MHz to 200 MHz can additionally be configured in a bi-static configuration in areas where it is topographically impractical to implement the cart.
Applications of GPR to the world of concrete products saves clients tremendous money locating structural components within slabs, walls, pilings, and columns. The Conquest® concrete imaging system, also manufactured by Sensors & Software, is an easy to use, portable GPR unit that can quickly survey floors as well as walls, ceilings, and other hard to access areas. Additionally there is a capacity to locate power carrying cables under or within the concrete with the (PCD), power cable detector, which is a component of the Conquest imaging platform. Conquest® has the capability to provide concrete images on the spot in a matter of minutes prior to drilling or cutting.
